The courage of connecting when the iron is hot. Neuro de-escalation® in practice

Abstract
In this workshop you will experience neuro de-escalation® in practice. Christoph and Elke Göttl, the founders of neuro de-escalation® will  use one real-life situation a participant has witnessed to explore the dynamics of an escalating situation and the neuro de-escalation® approach. To be able to explore escalations thoroughly we developed a special constellation design: the SystRol – a mixture of constellation and role play on real-life escalating situations.

Neuro de-escalation is a way to connect with people who activate their survival reactions like fight, flight or freeze or engage in stabilizing strategies like suicidal behaviour, self-harm or other serious moments. Achieve agency in otherwise helpless situations. Even for us each SystRol is unique and holds a special learning opportunity.
